Commodity Strategy - China Trade: Net Steel Exports To Continue On Declining Track - SEPT 2017

BMI View: Chinese net steel exports will remain on a declining track in the coming months as long-term infrastructure projects initiated during H216-Q117 support domestic demand and leave little for exports. In 2018, net steel exports will stabilise, as production eventually taper s off due to waning prices a nd domestic demand cools with the ongoing easing of fiscal support to the infrastructure and construction sectors.
